Drive® 75 DF Herbicide
Driven To Perform Better.
Drive® 75 DF herbicide raises the bar for postemergent weed control. A single, convenient application of Drive quickly controls a broad spectrum of both broadleaf and grassy weeds — from crabgrass and foxtail to clover and dandelion — in a wide variety of turf species. And it features low use rates per 1,000 sq. feet. When used as directed, Drive:
- Controls crabgrass in the mature stages.
- Keeps weeds under control for 30 to 45 days — in some cases for more than 3 months.
- Delivers superior, broad-spectrum postemergent control without damaging your turf.
- Offers exceptional seeding and overseeding flexibility — allowing you to seed many varieties of turf immediately before or after application.

Take a Test Drive.
Go ahead, try it. Drive delivers dependable postemergent control of both broadleaf and grassy weeds, eliminating or suppressing such hard-to-control weeds as:
- Crabgrass
- Dollarweed
- Clover
- Speedwell
- Dandelion
- Foxtail
- Torpedograss
- Kikuyugrass
- Bindweed
- Signalgrass
Drive even controls crabgrass in the mature stages — 4 tillers or more — that are just too much for other herbicides to handle. And Drive provides outstanding residual control for up to 30 to 45 days with a single application.

Unmatched Overseeding Flexibility.
While it controls many of the toughest weeds, Drive offers you unmatched flexibility for seeding and overseeding operations. All of these turfgrasses can be seeded or sprigged any time before or after Drive application:
- Annual Bluegrass
- Annual Ryegrass
- Buffalograss
- Common Bermudagrass
- Hybrid Bermudagrass
- Tall Fescue
- Zoysiagrass
It is best to wait for 28 days after seedling emergence to apply Drive on the following turfgrasses:
- Kentucky Bluegrass
- Fine Fescue (in blend)
- Creeping Bentgrass
In cases of Perennial Ryegrass, Drive may be applied until the day of seeding or 28 days after seedling emergence.

How To Apply Drive.
Apply 1 lb. of Drive per acre (0.37 oz per 1000 sq. ft.). Do not apply more than 2 lb. of Drive per acre (.74 oz per 1000 sq. ft.) per year. For specific rate recommendations, consult product label.
Apply Drive to actively growing weeds at recommended rates. In dry conditions, irrigation prior to application will improve control. Allow at least 24 hours between irrigation/rainfall. Rainfall or irrigation is recommended 2 to 7 days after application. (Drive works by both foliar and root uptake. Following these irrigation guidelines will optimize performance.) Use of methylated seed oil (MSO) adjuvant is advised. Check with your local supplier for recommendations.
Application Timing for Crabgrass Control: For optimal control of crabgrass, apply Drive from emergence until the crabgrass plants reach 2 tillers or after crabgrass reaches 4 tillers or more.
Drive may be tank-mixed with a number of other herbicides. For details, and for specific instructions regarding target weeds, spray equipment, nozzle selection and spray volume, consult the product label.
Control Symptoms: After postemergent application of Drive, broadleaf weeds exhibit leaf and stem twisting and chlorosis. Grasses exhibit stunting, chlorosis and a gradual reddening of the tips followed by necrosis. Symptoms typically appear 7 to 14 days after application.
